London mass stabbing horror as man fights for life and emergency services swoop

 A triple stabbing has left one man fighting for his life and another with life-changing injuries after a horror attack. The incident happened on Edgware Road, London in the early hours of this morning (January 4)..

One man his 20s remains in a critical condition, while another in his 30s has been left with life-altering injuries. The police have yet to make any arrests and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward, reports MyLondon.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "Around 00:50hrs on Monday, 5 January, officers attended Edgware Road, W2, with the London Ambulance Service following reports of multiple stabbings.

"Three men were treated at the scene for stab wounds. They were taken to hospital, where one man, aged in his 20s, remains in life-threatening condition. A second man, aged in his 30s, suffered life-changing injuries, while the third, aged in his 20s, was left with minor injuries.

"No arrests have been made at this stage, and police are making urgent enquiries.

"Anybody who witnessed the incident, or who has information, is urged to call 101, quoting crime reference 293/04JAN. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be filed via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

The road is currently closed both ways from Connaught Street to George Street. A detour is also in operation for London bus routes 6, 7, 23, 36 and 98.
